Dave Weaver

|
I began my
broadcasting career in 1982 at Liberty University in Lynchburg,
VA. I was the first Junior to be named Program Director of the
campus station. My concentration was sports casting, but after
graduation found P/T work at rocker 102.1 WRXL in Richmond, VA.
After 5 years I transferred to overnights at AAA 106.5 WVGO,
were I worked my way up to Production Director. After a 10-year
stay, I left to invest in a nightclub as Entertainment
Director. In 2000 I returned to radio as GM for Cat Country
100.3 in Petersburg, VA. After that station sold, I accepted
the evening shift at AC MIX 103.7 also in Richmond. I was born
in Yonkers, NY am a huge Jets, Mets, Rangers and Tony Stewart

Rachel Cates
Webmaster & DJ |
Rachel Cates is the Jill of all Trades whose original employment at the station in 2007 was a total fluke. Upon first arriving in Page, she was meant to be temporary help during Bids for Bargains, and one day, one of the DJs was running late. While listening to the frantic discussion about who would cover for the missing DJ, Rachel jokingly said, "I'll do it!" The other DJ looked at her and said, "Okay," and the rest is history.
While Rachel no longer lives in Page, she spends 3 months during the summer here and each year dutifully returns to the radio station to reprise her role as webmaster for KXAZ.com, KPGE.com, and LakePowellLife.com, as well as to do voicework and some production for commercials, and occasionally pull pranks on Dave.
